Exact Metrology Expands Long Range Inspection Capabilities

Cincinnati, OH- Exact Metrology Inc. added a Leica Geosystems ScanStation C10 Laser Scanner to its portable metrology equipment. The ScanStation C10 is full field-of-view long range scanner, and is designed for high productivity as-built, topographic and mapping surveys.

"The Leica Geosystems ScanStation C10 gives us the ability to more rapidly and precisely scan larger range applications including plant environments, roadways, natural formations, building exteriors and larger man-made objects including aircraft, ships and oil platforms," said Principal Dean Solberg. "Depending on the application, the C10 can perform scans up to 10 times faster than previous technology, providing a cost benefit to our customers."

Exact Metrology is a measurement services company that provides on-site inspection, reverse engineering, non-contact laser scanning and 2-D and 3-D digitizing services, as well as contract programming, software training, part programming and measurement equipment implementation.

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
