Skill Standards Released

The Manufacturing Skills Standards Council and the National Skill Standards Board have released the first voluntary skill standards for the manufacturing industry. The skill standards will ensure that workers are able to perform their jobs in today's dynamic and increasingly high performance workplace. The standards span various areas of the manufacturing industry sector, including production; quality assurance; logistics and inventory control; health, safety and environmental assurance; maintenance, installation and repair; and manufacturing production process development.
