The Labmaster Universal ID/OD measuring instrument can be used by gage calibration laboratories that need to precisely measure length, outside diameter, inside diameter, pitch diameter, linear displacement and thickness. The instrument is capable of measuring gage blocks, end standards, plain rings, threaded rings and plugs, pin and plug gages, tapered plugs, cylindrical setting gages, ball bearings, micrometers, indicators, LVDTs, calipers and snap gages with instrument uncertainty to 2 millionths of an inch (0.05 micron). It is suitable for most ID and OD applications through its 0.02-inch to 14-inch measuring range.
