WIXOM, MI - CogniTens, a Hexagon Metrology company, and InnovMetric Software announced the signature of a software distribution agreement in the areas of polygon meshing and reverse engineering. As part of this cooperation, CogniTens will offer its global customers InnovMetric’s PolyWorks/Modeler software embedded with CogniTens’ Optigo and OptiCell 3-D optical measurement systems. The companies are committed to working together to offer a seamless solution to best address the needs of their joint customer base.

Marc Soucy, president of InnovMetric Software Inc, says, “Using PolyWorks/Modeler will enable the new Optigo 200 RE system users to benefit from increased accuracy and rendering of their polygon meshes while preserving all the details and features captured by the CogniTens 3D measurement systems.
