MoreROCHESTER, NY-Richard N. Daniels has joined Carestream Health as General Manager of the company’s Advanced Materials operations. Carestream Advanced Materials develops and commercializes precision coated flexible substrate based materials using technology developed in the photographic industry.
Daniels is responsible for developing strategy and leading its implementation in film-based advanced materials initiatives. Markets for these materials include touch panel, display, flexible electronics, photovoltaic, imaging, battery component, medical device, membrane and numerous others.
Prior to his new role in Advanced Materials, Daniels raised private equity and purchased the coating assets of Polaroid Corp. to build a contract manufacturing business. The venture had a successful exit in a sale to a strategic acquirer.
