We spend so much time in negative thought or in negative actions. Negativity literally surrounds our lives.

However, we have the power within ourselves to rise above the meaningless, petty distractions that can waste so much time and steal so much of our energy.

We have the power to fill our moments and our life with the things that have real and lasting meaning.

We have the power to set ourselves free of negative thought patterns and behaviors. We have within ourselves the power to not let the negativity surround and control our thoughts and actions. We have the power to imagine the best for ourselves and our world.

We have the power to be at our best no matter what the circumstance. Only we have the power of will to move forward no matter what setbacks or obstacles may block our path.

We have the power to live our highest vision of how life can, and should, be. We have the power to follow and to reach the dreams we choose.

Where does this power come from? We have this power because we have a choice. We have the power to choose, independent of all other factors, what to think, what to say, what to do and who we want to be.

Though it is a serious responsibility, it is also the most magnificent opportunity anyone can imagine. We have the power to choose. Do not waste that power. It can transform our world and the world of others.

Jim, very true! This reminds me of a quote in Bhagwad Gita Ch.6, Verse 6: "For the being who has conquered the mind; that beings mind is the best of friends; but for one whose mind is uncontrolled, the very mind acts as the worst of enemies.

This reminded me of one of my favorite movies, "Charriots of Fire". We have what it takes to succeed but sometimes we have to reach down inside to reach it. We can transform ourveles. We have the power to do so. Thanks for reminding us that it is within us to do so. Jason

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
