Perhaps you have been struggling from failing to achieve your personal or professional goals. Maybe you’ve experienced failure many times in the past. However, sometimes the solution is right there in front of us, if only if we could just see it through the fog of disappointment that surrounds us.

Now is different. It is a different time and you have learned so much from previous disappointments. You are a different person, and that is what makes this an opportunity to move forward.

When thinking of failure, consider two of the greatest people who influenced the lives of so many. Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Edison were people who failed many times at trying to achieve their goals.

Let the stories of these two personalities influence your current and future thinking. They didn’t look at their failures as an end, but as a beginning. When they got knocked down, they got back up and started over. When they applied what they learned from failure, their subsequent results were much different than before.

Now you can experience what you've never been able to do before. Now you can follow through on the things you've been unable, or unwilling, to do in the past.

Now is your time to move forward with a sense of confidence. Now is your time to act. Now is when you can truly make a difference. Stand up, step forward, and achieve the success you deserve and so long have sought. It’s yours for the taking.

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
