Digital zoom microscope systems are available with magnification capabilities of up to 7,000X. The microscopes are well suited for capturing, recording and measuring a variety of materials. Available packages offer a variety of lenses with a Hirox interface, integrating a charge-coupled device (CCD) digital camera and fiber optic illumination into one system. The LDC 7700 offers standard 3-D software for total sample reconstruction, along with an integrated computer and monitor for portability. The LDC 1300 is available with optional 3-D software and image analysis/management software.
