The CleverDragon CSC12M25BMP19 is a complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS)-based camera with a 12-megapixel, 1.9-inch CMOS monochrome progressive scan sensor. The camera can be used by OEMs and system integrators to develop solutions for high-speed machine vision, parts inspection, robotics and medical applications. The camera’s CMOS sensor has 4,096- by 3,072-pixel resolution. The camera is capable of 25 frames per second (fps) at full-frame speed and has a low signal-to-noise ratio that is close to a traditional charge-coupled device (CCD). The development environment for the camera is further enhanced by its Camera Link standard interface (10/8 bit), allowing for immediate integration of the camera into new and existing systems without the need for special cables or frame grabbers.
