The GE1910 is a high-definition (HD) charge-coupled device (CCD) camera with a Gigabit Ethernet interface. Running at 30 frames per second (fps) at 1,920 by 1,080 resolution, and faster using area of interest readout, the camera incorporates the Kodak KAI-02150, a 2⁄3-inch optical-format progressive-scan CCD sensor. The camera has a C-mount lens mount with adjustable back focus and is available in color or monochrome models. Because of its GigE Vision compliant Gigabit Ethernet interface, the camera does not require a frame grabber to operate. The interface also allows cable lengths of up to 300 feet using Cat5e cable and longer lengths using fiber optic cables.
