Industrial Smart Camera
The Iris GT is a smart camera designed for harsh industrial environments. The camera is powered by an Intel 1.6 gigahertz processor and runs Windows CE 6.0, Microsoft’s real-time embedded operating system. The camera has an integrated graphics controller with video graphics array (VGA) output, 256-megabyte DDR2 memory and one gigabyte of flash disk.
For connectivity to external devices, the camera includes a 10/100/1,000 Ethernet port, USB 2.0 port, RS232 serial port, opto-coupled trigger input and strobe output. The camera also supports Ethernet/IP and Modbus over TCP/IP communications to directly interact with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment.
