The SI-1M motorized pendulum impact testing machine is for testing metals to Charpy and Izod standards, with available energy up to 450 Joules. The tester comes with Fracta software, for simple data acquisition and calculation of energy. The tester has motor-driven hammer raising with auto-return after the test and a dual latched hammer to avoid accidental release or test execution. The safety enclosure includes interlocks that prevent the hammer from dropping when the specimen door is open and stop movement while any door is open. Anvils and shrouds are included with the system.
