ISSAQUAH, WA, May 12—ATT Metrology Services Inc. has relocated its North American headquarters from Redmond, WA, to an expanded facility in Issaquah, WA. ATT Metrology is a metrology services provider serving various industries including aerospace, transportation, telecommunications, heavy engineering and more. The company also manufacturers optical target adapters and accessories for laser trackers.

The 18,000-square-foot facility will house metrology training facilities, test laboratories, customer technical services, meeting rooms and offices for ATT's growing staff of 25 employees. The relocation is the first phase in ATT's expansion plans to increase its metrology offerings by providing in-house measurement services, and add the capacity to perform precision alignment and precision assembly work at the new larger facility. The company intends to expand into the stationary CMM market.

ATT also will increase its overall efficiency by performing in-house calibrations of its numerous metrology systems. The company will move the manufacturing of its optical target accessories product line from an external resource into the new building. These improvements were not possible in the prior location. The entire relocation process is expected to be completed by the end of the summer.

“ATT Metrology Services has experienced rapid growth in the past five years," says Steve Ihlenfeldt, president and CEO. "We have added several new high-tech 3-D metrology technologies to our services repertoire, and hired new employees to support this expansion. Our new building is centrally located just a few miles from our prior location. The larger space is more suitable to our current needs, and enables us to significantly boost our operational efficiencies."
