ARLINGTON, VA—The Independent Association of Accredited Registrars (IAAR) has launched an online IAAR Directory of Registered Companies. The free, searchable directory, located at www.iaar.org, enables users to quickly identify manufacturers and service providers registered to global quality standards in industries including aerospace, telecommunications, automotive, environmental and others. The IAAR is an association of accredited management system registrars operating in North America.

With more than 22,000 certificate records from companies in 70 different countries, the IAAR Directory of Registered Companies contains certification to more than 15 different standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001, HACCP, TL 9000 and ISO/TS 16949. The database is updated continuously, adding new certificate records and information from additional accredited registrars.

“The IAAR Directory was created in response to market demands for a quick, simple mechanism to verify certificate status or search for companies registered to internationally recognized standards,” says IAAR President Pierre Sallé. “Because IAAR members issue a significant percentage of certificates, we felt that the public could benefit tremendously by having access to this data online.”

The directory only includes companies receiving registration certificates from accredited registrars who have successfully completed a rigorous third party audit from an accreditation body. This helps assure conformance to internationally accepted certification practices and procedures.

Searchable by company name, worldwide location and certificate, the IAAR Directory of Registered Companies connects users to registered companies with the click of a mouse. More specifically, users can search for registered companies based on:

  • Company Name
  • Geography (City, State/Province, Zip/Postal Code, Country)
  • Certification Standard
  • Certification Scope
  • Certificate Number
  • Certificate Status
  • Industry Code (SIC, EAC, NACE)
