DULUTH, GA—DVT Corp. was presented with an award that honors products that are built to last.

DVT, a manufacturer of machine vision and other products, won a Catalyst Award in the “Built to Last” category, one of six award categories. The award, meant to honor small to mid-sized companies, was presented by an Atlanta business magazine.

The company also signed a number of agreements. DVT announced that Phoenix Contact Inc. (Harrisburg, PA) will brand label a power supply and an Ethernet I/O assembly to be used with DVT’s Legend SmartImage vision systems.

In addition, DVT and ICONICS (Foxborough, MA) agreed to develop an OPC server for DVT products. OPC technology allows users to connect components from different manufacturers to communicate with each other through a common protocol.

Also, DVT Corp. signed an agreement with CTC Parker (Milford, OH), a producer of HMI (human machine interface) and machine control products, for DVT to private label CTC’s InteractX HMI software.
