The MicroScribe X portable CMM features data collection with SmartCapture trigger for continuous or single-point data collection with a variety of tips; an electromechanical brake to help prevent arm damage; application-specific calibration for increased accuracy; a verification gage; and software included for accuracy self-check. The unit comes with a standard three-year warranty, and the customer chooses which third-party software to use. Re-certification procedures can be done at either an authorized center or on-site for reduced down time and no shipping risk or expense.
