The Quadra-Chek 330 adds 3-D measuring capabilities to the company’s line of measuring systems. The system has versatile encoder interfaces that make it compatible with many manual coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). It includes a USB port for flash drives and printers and an RS232 port for communication to a computer. The system automatically determines feature type based on probed points, and has a high-resolution LCD monitor for full-color displays of 3-D measurements and operator controls. The system’s programming functionality includes alphanumeric program naming, operator messages and arrow-to-target indications that guide part probing. Hard probes, touch probes and indexable probes are supported.
