Single-Axis Actuators

The LX Series of single-axis actuators is available for motion control applications. The line offers a choice of standard or covered styles in three capacities, with lower overall stage height to conserve space, dowel holes in the base plate for accurate and fast assembly, and a base length configurable to 10-millimeter increments. The actuators have extruded, black-chrome plated bases for high rigidity with a two-row Gothic arch rail system for stability in all directions of load. Each actuator has a precision ball screw with built-in angular and radial contact bearings built into the support and motor bracket. Other features include an integral motor bracket designed to accommodate most servo/stepper motors and integrated ball screw nut and linear guide mechanism on the block for added precision in motion, plus the covered style has two dowel holes in the block to improve location repeatability during assembly and maintenance.

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
