AGR Supports BINDT Conference for 10th Time

MANCHESTER - AGR Field Operations - Manchester, celebrated its 10th anniversary of supporting The British Institute of Nondestructive Testing (BINDT) at the recent conference held near Macclesfield, Cheshire in the United Kingdom.

This year's conference was held at the stunning Shrigley Hall, which used to be a private manor house and is situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park.

"The BINDT event always proves to be a flagship to our market sector – both within the UK and further afield. It provides the ideal platform to introduce new products and for new and existing customers to meet with us face-to-face," says Jackie Berry, sales and marketing manager.

"The proximity of this year's event to our office based in Winsford, Cheshire, provided an ideal opportunity for other members of our team from all departments within our organisation to experience the conference and interact with customers on many different levels," continues Jackie. "This was also an ideal opportunity for people to speak directly to our staff who are involved in the day to day design, development and manufacture of the product along with our sales and marketing team who promote the product on a worldwide basis."

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
