Opto Sonderbedarf GmbH opens French Office

GRAFELFING, GERMANY - From December 1, 2008, the recently founded company Opto France S.A.R.L. becomes fully operational. Established in the Rhone Alpes region, at the Parc Altais Galileo facility in Chavanod, Opto France enjoys a strategic location close to the town of Annecy and within easy reach of Lyon and Grenoble. The business will be led by Patrick Trannois, who brings with him more than 20 years of experience in scientific imaging and machine vision. This new local office will enable Opto to offer a dedicated approach to the French market, further enhancing Opto’s service to its expanding international customer base. Opto France will offer the full core capabilities of the Opto Group, focusing on the distribution of Opto’s solino product lines as well as offering the fully customized OEM solutions traditionally offered by Opto.

To mark the opening of the new office, Opto France is proud to also announce its opening distribution agreements with two complimentary camera brands. Supporting its machine vision camera applications will be the German based Baumer Optronic camera range, and supporting its scientific applications will be the range of cameras offered by U.S.-based Diagnostic Instruments Inc.

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
