SurPhase is a stand-alone 3-D video microscope integrating a high-resolution CCD camera, controlled LED illumination and an objective turret with six positions for sample analysis in reflection. It is suited for 3-D surface characterization, combining 2-D video microscopy and 3-D measurement capabilities. The microscope is certified and verified with a traceable calibration standard and provides measurements in the nanometer resolution range according to ISO standards. Automatic acquisition and processing are performed by the GetPhase software package.
The ScanShark V5 laser probe is an addition to the company’s portable inspection and reverse engineering system. A ScanShark system includes the company’s seven-axis Infinite portable CMM, a ScanShark V5 laser scanning probe, PolyWorks software and a laptop or desktop computer. The mobile metrology system delivers the power of articulated arm measurement and laser scanning for on-demand part inspection and reverse engineering right on the shop floor. The V5 can deliver 458,000 points per second scanning speed, nearly 20X greater than the previous version, with a point-to-point resolution of 12 microns, and a 140-millimeter-wide laser stripe. A proprietary integrated rangefinder simplifies the scanning process for the operator. The V5 is capable of scanning reflective surfaces and varying colors without applying surface preparation.
