Impact Version 8.0 is machine vision software that includes drag and drop tools and controls, snap-to-grid alignment on the control panel canvas and ease of data linking between vision tools and controls. The vision program manager included in the software has more than 120 tools, including optical character recognition (OCR), blob analysis, circle gage, circular pattern find, line find and subpixel gaging. The software also has a control panel manager, allowing operators to create custom control panels with multiple image displays, data charts and real-time inspection results with password-protected panels, frames and tabs.
