The AD-080GE, with GigE Vision interface, is a 2-charge-coupled device (CCD) camera capable of simultaneously imaging visible and near-infrared (NIR) light spectrums through a single lens. The AD-080GE incorporates two 1/3 inch progressive scan sensors (1024 by 768 pixels) mounted to a custom-designed optical prism. The camera runs at a frame rate of 30 frames per second in continuous operation.

Other applications include the inspection of blister packs or other plastic film containers, where the visible channel allows inspection of the print on the surface and the NIR channel allows inspection of the contents. Each channel has separate gain and exposure control to be able to optimize the signal-to-noise ratio at all times. The camera is equipped with two GigE outputs enabling a choice between single-cable operation or separate cables for each channel.
