CLEVELAND, OH-QMI has received a second Advertising Excellence Award from Quality magazine for its newly designed advertisement highlighting the goal of QMI's auditing service. The ad, part of QMI's re-branding campaign, first appeared in January 2004.
A study conducted by AdScore Publication Research, a North American publication research organization, found QMI's full-page, four-color advertisement to be the most highly recognized by publication readers in the registration, certification, training and consulting category. In a similar study conducted by the same organization, QMI's ad was honored for high recognizability.
Eighty-one percent of surveyed readers recalled QMI's ad, and of that group, 10% took action such as calling QMI for a quote or visiting the company's Web site.
"Receiving this award validates the fact that recall by prospective customers means QMI is not only distinguishing itself in the marketplace, but also encouraging those who see our ad to take action," says Elizabeth Wagner, marketing manager for the company.
