Quality Companion 3 is software for managing and executing quality improvement projects. The software package complements the company’s statistical software, and the current version is able to import Microsoft Visio diagrams and create custom data fields and categories. It also has a more powerful project manager and new brainstorming templates. At the start of a project, the software’s project roadmap feature helps plot a clear course of action. Adding the software’s built-in tools to the roadmap creates a detailed plan for the entire project-and the means to complete the tasks for each step, from start to finish. The software comes with more than 100 predefined templates for quality projects, including C&E Matrix, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and project charter.
