Creaform Launches 3-D Scanning Contest
LEVIS, QUEBEC--Creaform says works tirelessly to maintain its position as a leader and groundbreaker in 3-D digitizing.To further that aim, it is sponsoring the "Put Us to the Test!" 2011 Challenge, a scanning and design contest to encourage public and/or private "dream" projects.
"Among the candidacies submitted, we will pick the three most challenging entries to put our 3-D engineering skills to the test…once again," Creaform says.
The prizes include:One "Nothing is impossible" prize ($20,000 value)
Two "Consider it done!" prizes ($2,000 ea. value)
"Whatever your industry or the scope of your project, we are eager to push back our limits whether we’re talking 3-D scanning, long-range scanning, inspection, reverse engineering, design or FEA," Creaform notes. "Dare to submit your project, even if you are convinced that it is mission impossible."
