Moscow Hosts International NDT Show
MOSCOW-Spring time in the capital of Russia will bring more than blossoms and the shedding of heavy winter coats. ITE Group PLC and the Russian Society for Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics are hosting the 3rd Annual NDT: Russia, an international conference and exposition focused on nondestructive test (NDT) equipment and diagnostics equipment. The conference and show will be held May 17 to 20 in Moscow, at the Olympiysky complex.
NDT conference topics include pipeline control, transportation and aerospace, metallurgy and construction, evaluation of residual resource and materials strengthening characteristics in machine building, and acoustic emission control and vibration diagnostics of dangerous objects.
A look at the 2004 event shows that the majority of visitors to this event come from Russia, with some visitors from the Baltic region.
While the attendance may come primarily from the former Soviet Union, the 2005 exhibitors are multinational companies that see business opportunities in the region. Exhibitors include GE Inspection Technolo-gies, Epsilon, Karl Deutsch, National Instruments, R/D Tech, Olympus and more.
