The Phasor XS offers phased array capability within a portable ultrasonic flaw detector to reduce inspection times and improve probability of detection. Because of its menu-driven inspection instructions, the battery-powered instrument requires minimum operator training and brings phased array technology to routine manual inspection. When used in phased array mode, the instrument offers up to 128 individual channels. This entry-level phased array solution weighs less than 4 kilograms.
