CERATIZIT Names Flynn as Technical Sales Engineer for Northeast US

CERATIZIT USA announced that Kevin Flynn has joined the company as a Technical Sales Engineer to support CERATIZIT cutting tool customers in the Northeast region of the U.S.
Based out of Hampden, Mass., Flynn brings 23 years of experience in the manufacturing and metalworking industry to his role at CERATIZIT. With a strong background in toolmaking, machining, and CNC programming, Flynn’s professional history includes extensive experience with three-, four-, and five-axis machining processes across a wide range of materials. As a CERATIZIT Technical Sales Engineer, Flynn will focus on building strong customer relationships while delivering reliable tooling and technical machining solutions that improve overall shop floor performance.
“I’ve always enjoyed working side by side with customers to better understand their processes and identify opportunities for improvement,” says Flynn. “Whether it’s extending tool life, reducing cycle time, or lowering cost per part, my goal is to serve as a problem-solver who responds quickly.”
Flynn’s responsibilities include analyzing machining processes, recommending optimized tooling strategies and troubleshooting application challenges. His practical, application-driven mindset will help customers achieve consistent, high-quality results while maximizing productivity.
In addition to the company’s extensive cutting tool portfolio, Flynn will support CERATIZIT’s broader commitment to quality, sustainability and regulatory compliance. Through its vertically integrated tungsten supply network in the United States, including Global Tungsten & Powders (GTP), CERATIZIT maintains access to every stage of tungsten processing, from raw material conversion to the production of high-purity ammonium paratungstate (APT). This integration strengthens supply chain security while ensuring consistent material quality for manufacturers producing critical components.
“Kevin combines his technical knowledge with timely and meaningful customer communications,” notes Troy Wilt, Managing Director of CERATIZIT USA, Cutting Tools Division. “In addition, he understands the realities of the shop floor, which is why he prioritizes practical solutions that keep operations moving efficiently.”
