Specialised inspection and engineering services company, H Scan International Inc, acquired UK-based advanced ultrasonic services company Lateral Wave Limited.

The global non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment market registered good growth from 2007 through 2012. The market is forecast to reach $2.052 billion by 2018 continuing its solid growth over the next five years.
