The Spot RT3 Slider digital camera system combines performance and FireWire connectivity. The system has optical color rendering, particularly when used with Spot Imaging software featuring Correct Color Technology/ICC color profiling. The performance of the RT3 Slider, along with the built-in flexibility of both color and monochrome imaging in one camera, makes the camera suited for core laboratory imaging needs. Low read noise and deep pixel wells of its Kodak KAI 2020 CCD make it a sensitive imaging system. With effective differential cooling of -43 C, dark current has been reduced to under 0.003 e/p/s, making the camera suited for fluorescence imaging. Spot Basic Image Capture software is included with each RT3 Slider camera and can be enhanced to include macro scripting and peripheral device control.

Bluehill Lite is a general-purpose software package that provides a range of tailored application solutions. It is to be used for fundamental applications and standardized tensile, compression, flexure, peel, tear, friction and simple cyclic test requirements. The software is compatible with all of the company’s 3300 Series universal test systems, and has a Web-like interface that consolidates testing, test method definition and reports, and system administration. The software is divided into color-coded tabs and has a distinct home screen for ease of navigation. Designed with screens that are tailored to the application requirements of each test type, parameters such as fixture setup, test terminology, unit choices and calculations are configured automatically.
CTS Connect air-actuated internal or external connectors are for sealing smooth, rough or threaded circular features of a part. The connectors consist of an air-driven internal piston that compresses the urethane seal material against the surface of the part, creating a tight seal that meets all test pressure requirements, regardless of surface shape or finish. The connectors are ideal for leak testing, filling, cleaning, burst or pressure testing, flushing, charging, integrity, sealing and part handling in a variety of industries including automotive, medical, appliance, industrial and military.
The Quadra-Chek 300 is a digital readout system now with image archiving. This capability allows operators to store measured part features, including test data and descriptive text, as JPG. images for documenting, testing and quality inspection purposes. The system uses proprietary technology to combine multiple video measuring functions in a single display unit, including video display, cross line generator and automated edge detection for improved accuracy, increased measuring speed and reliability. It has a high-resolution LCD monitor, plus integrated direct camera input that provides live feed video display. The system’s programming features include alphanumeric program naming, operator messages and arrow-to-target stage directions to operators.
The VideoCheck is a fixed-bridge type multisensor coordinate measuring machine with a patented Z-axis ram design that allows easy integration of additional sensors for increased productivity. The measuring capacity extends up to 15.7 inches (400 millimeters) in X axis and 7.8 inches (200 millimeters) in the Y axis. Typical applications are in the automotive, electro, plastics, rubber good, watch and glass industries.
Abaqus Version 6.7, a finite element analysis software suite, now has a new architecture for high-performance linear dynamics, advanced capabilities for composites simulation and nonlinear materials modeling. The software also has an intuitive and customizable interface for accelerated model building and results visualization, as well as two new interfaces for CAD associativity. The new linear dynamics architecture is fully integrated with existing nonlinear capabilities, enabling engineers to share model data and results across workgroups. The release provides a unified simulation environment for general-purpose structural integrity, power train durability, noise and vibration behavior, crashworthiness, occupant safety and tire-roadway interaction.

The 1200 Series (ASME grade 2A) pressure gages provide the capabilities necessary to monitor pressures in nearly every type of process. In basic applications, the Type 1259 is the economical choice. Turnkey inspection systems are designed and built to meet the customer’s specific inspection application, for parts as small as bolts and nuts or as large as I beams or engine blocks. These systems are often designed around eddy current-based inspection products, but also can include magnetic flux leakage technology, ultrasonic technology or vision systems, all operating together to perform a fully automated inspection process. The systems can be integrated into any manufacturing operation so there is minimum information lag between when a defect occurs and when it is detected.
The Targa III Dynamic Runout instrument measures runout on high-speed spindles at speeds up to 300,000 RPM. The new instrument has a noncontact capacitive sensor and a digital display with multiple measurement modes. The dynamic runout mode (DRO) presents a continuously updating TIR measurement that does not require manual reset when the TIR decreases. This feature allows measurement of DRO across a range of spindle speeds. Results of this test indicate the optimal speed for production operation of the spindle.
