Bob McCurrach

Bob McCurrach, Director of Vision & Imaging Standards, Association for Advancing Automation. McCurrach has over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and product development sector, with a focus on global engineering management, strategic program and process management, primarily for the nuclear, defense and automotive industries. He holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University as well as an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology. Bob joined the Association for Advancing Automation (A3) in 2011 as their director of standards development for vision & imaging. He has been a key leader in A3’s standards development and coordination of vision standard development globally. Standards play a key role in the vision & imaging industry by ensuring interoperability of components, increasing market size, and shortening the time it takes to get new products to market.
