2/20/08 Edmund Optics Hires Several New Engineers

Barrington, NJ -- Edmund Optics announced the hiring of several new engineers to support customer service and product development. Amr Khalil joined EO on February 11, 2008 as Product Line Manager for all Photonics products. Amr has over 10 years in the photonics industry. He will continue to aggressively grow EO's products lines and support the over 8,000 products now available in this category.

In addition to Amr, Greg Mulligan joined Edmund Optics in February, as the Southwest Regional Sales Manager. Greg's extensive technical and sales background at such companies as Hoya Optics, Optical Coating Laboratories, US Precision Glass, and Market Tech Inc. make him an asset to the growing, global EO sales team. He will be expanding accounts in this region, ultimately working out of EO's Optical Design Center in Tucson, Arizona.
