Aluquick is a fixturing system suitable for many applications. In aircraft maintenance work it can complement gages used for checking irregularly shaped pipes. When extremities, position and diameters of pipes, often bent into irregular shapes, have to be checked or measured on a coordinate measuring machine (CMM), typically a dedicated fixture or gage is required for each individual part. The latest component additions to the reusable system enable mounting of pipes of different length, shape and diameter on fixtures built exclusively from standard components. This is made possible via items like rotary and angle elements, which adapt to workpiece contact points in all angles and degrees.
