ASI DataMyte Makes Further Advancement into China
PLYMOUTH, MI-ASI DataMyte has announced further advancement into the Chinese automotive market with the first order to provide its quality solutions to the Chinese automobile maker Chery.
Chery produces dozens of models of vans, sedans and crossovers and is ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 certified.
ASI DataMyte’s gap, flush and seal gap measurement solution will be integrated with Chery’s existing test fixtures and quality operations to more fully automate its collection of dimensional data.
“We are seeing good things happening in China this year,” says Gianni De Gaspari, director of international sales and marketing for ASI DataMyte. “Obviously, the global financial situation affects all. But many of our customers are using our solutions as means to steer through the crisis and better their position-by improving quality, dramatically lowering costs and gaining competitive advantage.”
