Princeton, NJ – Kaplan EduNeering has opened a Hong Kong office for its Asian clients. The new location, which will house sales and support staff, is based in the Hong Kong offices of its parent company, Kaplan, Inc. In 2008, Kaplan EduNeering opened a European‐based location in Reading, England.

“With the on‐going harmonization of global safety standards across many industries, Kaplan EduNeering’s global content and award‐winning learning platform has seen significant client usage across Asia,” said Lisa Clune, president of Kaplan EduNeering. “Our Hong Kong headquarters will help our existing clients navigate the complex regulatory challenges in Asia, while also cultivating new relationships.”

Clune has appointed COO Ryan Carpentier, to the role of managing director of the new Asia office. Carpentier says there has been a “heightened global regulatory enforcement” for its life-sciences clients.

“Kaplan EduNeering and U.S. Food and Drug Administration expanded their Cooperative Research and Development Agreement last year, which includes use of our learning technology and content to address regulatory challenges in Asia,” he notes. “This new office will help support the efforts of China’s regulatory organizations to enforce the safety standards for FDA‐regulated products.”
