Ted Luty Leaves Legacy in Metrology World
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY--Theodore “Ted” Luty Jr. of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Luty was CEO of Dorsey Metrology International, formerly Dorsey Gage Co.
Dorsey Metrology makes and sells precision measurement equipment used in manufacturing. Luty is survived by his wife,
Margaret Ann “Annie” Luty, children Devon Luty and T.J. Luty, and grandsons Theodore Swenson and Christopher Luty-Zullo. Daughter and business partner, Devon Luty, 31, is president of the company.
Luty was the second generation owner of the company and was thoroughly involved until his passing.
