Quality Professional Robert Dembkoski Dies at 56
WINDSOR, CT — Longtime reader and quality professional Robert E. Dembkoski, 56, of Windsor, Conn. died Feb. 20 following a battle with cancer.
A graduate of the University of Hartford, Dembkoski had most recently been a quality auditor for Timken Aerospace Transmissions. He was a longstanding member of the Hartford chapter of the American Society for Quality and chaired the organization from 2007 to 2011. He also was a radiological monitor for FEMA, civil defense director and coordinator with the Defense Civil Preparedness Agency, a former Windsor Civil Defense Auxiliary Police member and a life member of the National Rifle Association.
Dembkoski was always willing to help with the family business, starting when his father-owned convenience stores and continued to help his brother at Pickleworks Restaurant.
He leaves his brother, Thomas A. Dembkoski and his wife Mary Jane of Windsor; his nephew, Michael of Granby; his niece, Marissa of Boston; his uncle Stanley J. Dembkoski and his wife Gail of Ponce Inlet, Fla.; and his girlfriend, Robyn Warwick.
