Spectronics Corporation, the originator of LED lamps for fluorescent inspection, is proud to re-lease the Vintage 365 (SPN-VIN365): a pistol-grip, LED UV-A inspection lamp for non-destructive testing.  The trademark of the Vintage lamp is its classic appearance; the housing and handle are modeled after Spectroline’s original HID-bulb lamps.  While the outside of the lamp ap-pears “vintage,” the inside is anything but.

SPN-VIN365 is an inspection lamp in its purest form: a high-performance lamp head perched atop an ergonomic handle. This lightweight unit, made of metal and durable plastics, weighs in at only 2.1 lbs. (0.95kg).

Beneath its classic design, the SPN-VIN365 provides all the benefits of modern LED-technology. The lamp has 2 powerful UV-A LEDs behind long-lasting lenses, which protect against solarization. LEDs are cool-running, so they do not require any fans or warmup time. With the flip of the switch, the lamp provides a wide, strong, uniform beam pattern. Its nominal steady state intensity is 5,500 µW/cm² at 15 inches (38cm). The coverage area encompasses a large 8-inch (21cm) diameter at 15 inches (38cm), with a minimum UV-A intensity of 1,200 µW/cm². Each lamp comes with a unique Certificate of Light Output, signed by a Quality Control manager and guaranteeing the lamp’s performance meeting ISO 3059 specifications for NDT inspection.
