Steven J. Spear, author of Chasing the Rabbit: How Market Leaders Outdistance the Competition, is a senior lecturer at MIT and a senior fellow at the Institute of Healthcare Improvement. He has written for diverse publications including Harvard Business Review, Annals of Internal Medicine, The New York Times, and The Boston Globe. He has won the Shingo Prize for Research Excellence five times, was a McKinsey Award winner in 2005, and received a National Book Prize in 2009.
