John Martin joined America Makes in 2023 as the Additive Manufacturing Research Director and is responsible for growing the AM ecosystem and driving value from the Institute’s technology portfolio through strategic partnerships and member collaboration.
Before joining America Makes, John was a full-time professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology at Youngstown State University (YSU) for nearly a decade. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering from YSU and is currently nearing completion of his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering.
