Colin H. Cunningham

Colin H. Cunningham, Senior Director at Bureau Veritas North America. He is a seasoned operations executive and U.S. Marine Corps veteran with over 15 years of experience in energy infrastructure, federal program management, and design-build construction.  He currently serves as Senior Director of Operations and Design Build Director for the Buildings and Infrastructure Group of Bureau Veritas North America, based in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, Colin is responsible for leading the growth and execution of the firm’s Federal Practice and Design-Build / Turnkey Construction initiatives, with a specific focus on manufacturing and industrial inspections, certifications, and quality strategy consulting, helping organizations build systems that deliver reliable, compliant, and high-performing products, supporting the company’s mission to shape a world of trust.

Before joining Bureau Veritas, Colin served and continues to serve as a Combat Engineer Officer & Foreign Security Forces Advisor in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where he has led large-scale engineering and infrastructure missions both in CONUS and OCONUS, including a deployment in Afghanistan.  Following his military service, he spent eight years with AECOM Energy, ultimately holding the position of Associate Vice President. Throughout these roles, he has directed numerous local, regional, state, and national programs focused on energy and infrastructure modernization.

Colin holds a BS in Community, Environment and Development (Environmental Economics and Policy) from The Pennsylvania State University, completed Yale University’s program on Climate Change & Health, and completed coursework at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.  He is affiliated with the Project Management Institute and the Society of American Military Engineers.
