Theo Young began his career in the NDT industry nearly 20 years ago as an assistant, where he quickly became known for his ability to take complex technical concepts and explain them in a way that was practical and easy to understand. That ability ultimately became the foundation for Refined NDT, a company he founded to help individuals build meaningful careers through advanced training, mentorship, and real-world industry guidance.
In partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission, Refined NDT also operates a licensed career school and apprentice program designed to create opportunities for the next generation of NDT professionals. Theo currently holds ASNT NDT Level III certifications, NAVSEA Level III certifications, and NAS-410 Level III certifications in five methods.
