After learning something truly exciting, there is something extraordinarily satisfying in sharing it with someone else. Children do this all the time. They take the new information directly to an adult—usually a parent or caregiver—and the words pour out of their mouths, torrents of energy and pride.

When we think of November we immediately think about Thanksgiving, deer hunting season, and Black Friday shopping. These observations are well-known and carry a rich tradition. 

With the signing of Proclamation 5249, President Ronald Reagan created National Quality Month. Since 1984, American companies have been observing National Quality Month as an opportunity to promote quality initiative awareness and celebrate the wins.

Since 2010, ASQ has been pleased to host the World Quality Month website, offering organizations around the world an opportunity to celebrate successes and share results for others to learn from.

ASQ will soon launch an online self-assessment tool that will help organizations evaluate their culture of quality to identify strengths and opportunities that can accelerate growth and performance.
