CHICAGO - The Industry & Technology Conference at IMTS 2010 is taking shape, and the conference organizers have issued a "call for speakers" for anyone interested in making a presentation. GIE Media, the conference coordinator, is asking interested individuals to send in their presentations for review. The conference will feature a wide range of industry-specific sessions focused on six topic tracks: materials engineering, machining technology & trends, alternative manufacturing processes, metrology, plant operations and rapid prototyping.

"When we were approached by the AMT to coordinate the conferences at IMTS 2010, our entire staff jumped onboard," Grasson says. "Based on our staff's cumulative experience of more than 100 years in manufacturing and publishing, we are very enthusiastic and eager to bring the most innovative technologies to the forefront and provide manufacturers from all industry sectors an opportunity to learn firsthand the importance and benefits stemming from technological advancements."
