WASHINGTON - The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association is hosting the 2010 Capitol Hill Ride & Drive, Tuesday, April 27, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Peace and Garfield Circles, Capitol Hill. Attendees can test drive vehicles and see demonstrations of the latest advances in safety and fuel efficiency.

Participating organizations and technologies include:
  • BOSCH: Prototype car with Start/Stop System; Ford Flex with iBolt Occupant Classification System; and an Audi A3 TDI, the Clean Diesel 2010 Green Car of the Year

  • Cooper Standard Automotive: Ford Escape with Vehicle Sealing Systems, Anti-Vibration Systems, Thermal Management System; as well as fuel, brake and emissions technology. The vehicle will feature our Safe Seal technology, a PACE award winning technology.

  • Valeo: Park4U semi-automatic parking system; other low speed maneuvering systems, and iStARS micro-hybrid stop-start system.

  • American Trucking Associations: ATA high-tech show trailer with interactive safety displays, truck simulator, and an opportunity to sit in the cab of the tractor-trailer.
