ROCHESTER, NY- Parlec Inc., a global tooling and presetting solutions company, will unveil its new Productivity Center at the 2012 International Manufacturing Trade Show (IMTS), September 10-15 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. Rather than the usual static product displays, Parlec has created an interactive environment where visitors can explore how to integrate a myriad of technologies to solve their most demanding manufacturing challenges.

“There is a renaissance in American manufacturing,” says Chris Nuccitelli, vice president of sales and marketing. “Parlec’s Productivity Center will demonstrate how the integration of high performance tooling products, tool data management, tool measuring and inspection, and shop floor communications can give US manufacturers increased efficiency and a competitive edge in today’s global environment.”

The Productivity Center will be staffed with application and technical engineers with over a century of combined shop floor experience. It will highlight and explore new tools and technologies like MTConnect, high-speed metal cutting, sub-micron tool inspection, RFID data transfer and CAM integration.
