Video Borescope

XL Go VideoProbe from GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies

The XL Go VideoProbe is a high-resolution video borescope. Applications include the inspection of windmills, pipelines, gas turbines, steam turbines, aircraft engines, automotive engines, steam generators and heat exchangers. The instrument is powered by a lithium ion battery and small enough to be classified as carry-on luggage. Its tungsten braided insertion tube has 360-degree articulation, allowing for navigation in tight spaces. LED light is routed through a fiber optic bundle, projecting the inspection image onto a high-resolution LCD screen. The instrument is housed in polycarbonate, and has double-threaded optical tips to eliminate the risk of foreign object damage.
