Borescope Cooling Sleeve

A high-temperature flexible borescope/videoscope cooling sleeve constructed of high-temperature polyurethane is available. The new borescope cooling sleeve allows for inspection of areas with temperatures as high as 500 F. The sleeve keeps the scope cool by surrounding it in a vortex of compressed air. This allows industrial customers to inspect steam lines and turbines without waiting for the typical cool down time. Previously operators were required to wait several days until temperatures dropped enough to insert a conventional scope. The sleeve works with a 3-meter-long videoscope. Both 6- and 8-millimeter videoscopes can be used.
