ROCHESTER, NY -Carestream Health has been named a leader in imaging based on its strategy for digital radiography and imaging informatics.

The accolade came from industry analysts Frost & Sullivan, which says Carestream Health has gained share over its competitors by being quicker, as well as more effective, flexible and proactive in adapting to the changing radiology and healthcare IT landscape, Frost & Sullivan say. “Throughout a challenging year, Carestream Health continued to develop solutions that are more innovative and more affordable, while still maintaining high-quality customer service,” said the analysts.

Carestream NDT (a division of Carestream Health) leverages this breakthrough imaging technology and adapts it for use specifically in the NDT space. “We take the best the company has to offer and create valuable solutions for our NDT customers,” says Paul Biver, director of marketing for Carestream’s NDT group. “We have an incredible legacy and the people to be true innovators.” Innovations such as the recently launched HPX-1 Computed Radiography system are evidence of Carestream’s commitment to this philosophy. The HPX-1 system is the first of its kind, built from the ground up to meet the challenges of industrial marketplace.
